At 19 years old, in 1997, I received a heart and double lung transplant. The experience profoundly changed my life and the way I see the world.

Through my art, I explore the emotions, memories, and personal transformation that came with that journey. Creating these pieces has been a way for me to process what I went through and continue healing.
